‘I Think It’s Going Nowhere:’ Jim Cramer On Major Telecom Company

On CNBC’s “Mad Money Lightning Round,” Jim Cramer said U-Haul Holding Company (NYSE: UHAL) is a “very inexpensive stock…I think it is unheralded and is going higher, even though it’s already up 30% for the year.”

U-Haul is one of the most essential companies in the United States that has a number of customers who move on a constant basis.

The services include moving trucks, moving equipment, and self-storage for people needs to move furniture when in comes to moving to new places.

It continues to be an essential service that is used on a daily basis.

When asked about Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ), he said, “The fact is that we don’t want to buy a stock just for its dividend, but if it’s not growing. Verizon to me has lost its way, I don’t think its management is very crisp anymore, and I don’t care where you bought it, I care where it’s going, and I think it’s going nowhere.”

Verizon Communications has been one of the most reliable telecommunications company by customers across the United States for cell phone service and internet.

It continues to be one of the most preferred cell phone carriers among its competitors that includes T-Mobile and AT&T.

Verizon continues to have the best mobile service among its customers where T-Mobile partnered with Starlink for revitalizing cell phone service.

The “Mad Money” host said Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVLV) is a “good one, too, but Leidos Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: LDOS), is my favorite.”

When asked about BP p.l.c. (NYSE: BP), he said, “I thought the earnings were a yawner. I do not buy stocks to yawn … I don’t think there’s anything there that is exciting.”

BP is the most affordable gas by many drivers on the road in comparison to other petroleum companies including Shell, Chevron, Mobil, and 76.

Valero remains in competition with BP for its affordable gas. Oil prices remain high at $79 a barrel. The national average is at $3.83, according to the AAA. 

California remains at the top with the most expensive price of gas at $5 per gallon as American continue to see the pain at the pump.

Shares of BP fell 0.9% to close at $36.96, while Leidos rose 6.9% to $99.98 on Tuesday. Evolv Technologies shares rose 2.7% to settle at $6.76, while Verizon lost 1.9% to close at $33.43 during the Tuesday’s session. U-Haul shares slipped 0.8% to $60.37 on Tuesday.
