The Queen & slim star filled a petition to divorce Joshua Jackson in a Los Angeles court. Jodie Turner Smith is a 37 years old British actress who has featured in a film Debut ‘The Neon Demon’ and has since acted in ‘Queen & Slim’, ‘After Young’ and ‘White Noise’.
She met her husband in 2018 at an Usher’s event. “When i first met my husband, we had a one night stand, now we are in a two, three-year one-night stand” said Smith. Joshua Jackson is a Canadian actor who’s known for his Portrayals of Pacey Witter on the Warner Bros (WBs) teens drama, ‘Dawson’s Creek’, ‘Peter Bishop’ in the Fox Science Fiction ‘Fringe (2008-2013).
His latest ones include ’When They See Us’ (2019), ‘Little Fires Everywhere’ in 2020. Jackson was a nominated for the 2022 Critic’s Choice Television Award for the best actor in a limited series.
The duo celebrated their daughter’s birthday on September 9th as she turned 3 years, they however arrived and left the party separately, during the party they were distant throughout the night. Their hectic work schedules has been the major issue in their marriage over an year now.
They were both filming projects from different locations at the same time juggle with parenting their young daughter. They both tried to start initiatives to make their relationship better by managing their busy schedules but unfortunately they were slowly growing apart.
Two months after the couple met, they took off to Nicaragua to spend a romantic getaway, Jackson later revealed that it was then that Smith popped up the question. “We were in Nicaragua, it was very beautiful, incredibly romantic as we walked down the beach she asked me to marry her,” said Jackson. Heartbroken Jackson knew they had issues just like other couples do but he didn’t know Smith was that unhappy.
They look forward to co-parent their daughter as their friends hope they could be together again.
