Israel-Gaza Conflict Escalates: Nearly 300 Dead As Attacks Continue

Nearly 300 people have been killed in Gaza and Israel since Saturday morning attack, the numbers are increasing as the attacks continue to escalate. Israel woke up to a sad morning, hundreds of rockets had been fired to their country. 

The Israeli President Netanyahu talked to the nation, after the attacks about the war and assured them that the Israeli nation will win.

Palestinian group Hamas launched a surprise terrorist attacks by firing rockets to unprepared Israel, the militants kidnapped Israelis civilians and soldiers. “By early evening fighting continued in at least five places in southern Israel, at least 100 Israelis have been reported dead by emergency medical groups and Israel has retaliated with huge strikes on Gaza cities,” said Israeli Military. 

The Israelis ambulance service was conducting a search in at least six different locations to aid the injured and rush them to hospitals, thousands of civilians are already hospitalized.

Israel’s attack came as a surprise since the country has not experienced something like that in the last 50 years. The last attack happened in 1973 on a holiday. Surprisingly 7th October is a holiday where they conduct Sukkot festivals.

 During this holiday the Israelites commemorate God’s protection of the children of Israel during their 40 years journey in the desert.

“Group has captured dozens of Israeli military, soldiers and officers they are secured in safe places and resistance tunnels,” said Abu Ubaida Al-Qassem Brigades spokesman. The Brigade was officially established in 1991 to provide the Hamas with military capability, they were organized secretly in cells that specialized in terrorist attacks, assassinations and kidnapping inside Israel.

Earlier in the morning Security cabinet in Israel met to discuss the four scales they’ll use to respond to the attack, Israel military called reserved military to combine efforts to fight back the enemy. The attack seemed well organized, the Hamas arrived in Israel using different means of transport, some flew into the country, others by sea, while the rest walked in. Israel Military helped to evacuate civilians while others were hiding in the basements of their homes. The war escalated and Israel is retaliating the battle.
