Mohammed Salah ranked fourth greatest Liverpool player in club history
Debate ignited after fans argue whether the Egyptian forward deserves a higher ranking

LIVERPOOL, UNITED KINGDOM — Mohammed Salah has been ranked as the fourth greatest Liverpool player in club history. This has brought up debate on whether he deserves the spot or not. Some say he deserves a higher rank, while others think otherwise. The Egyptian player transformed himself into a fantastic player after being involved with Anfield for about 9 years.
The Egyptian professional footballer, aged 34, is widely known as the “Egyptian King”. He has scored more than 250 goals, making him the club’s most prolific goal scorer. Mohammed Salah is considered one of the greatest wingers in football; his professional career began with AI Mokawloon in the Egyptian Premier League. The team ended up being suspended in 2012, and he was later picked by Swiss Side FC.
In 2017, Salah was signed by Liverpool. His tenure at Anfield transformed him into one of the world’s greatest forwards in football. During his debut of 18 seasons, he shattered the 38-game scoring record by netting 32 league goals, earning him the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the first of multiple Premier League Golden Boots.
Salah was ranked behind other legends such as Steven Gerrard, Sir Kenny Dalglish, and Ian Rush. Many are satisfied with Salah’s performance throughout the seasons; he has delivered goals and assists that led to his team winning as well as breaking many club and Premier League Records. Salah has received major trophies such as two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup. Individually, he’s received several Golden Boots, just to mention some of his greatest achievements ever.

Although in 2018 he suffered from a shoulder injury during the Champions League final against Real Madrid, which ended his participation in the first half of the match, all was not lost; he later on joined the Reds a year later.
Salah’s legacy continues to grow with every season he spends with Liverpool. His great skills in the field, together with determination and consistency, have helped him be where he is today. His being ranked among Liverpool’s top 5 players is a big achievement. Whether his fans believe he should remain fourth or move even higher in the list, Salah seeks to continue working harder to score more goals and win many trophies ahead in order to raise his career.
