WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump endorsed Brent Taylor, a Tennessee state senator and businessman, in the Republican Primary for the state’s 9th Congressional District as voting got underway.

Taylor won backing from Tennessee’s two U.S. senators, Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty, in a race Trump framed around economic growth, border security and gun rights.
