HILO, HAWAII — Four Hawaii engineering firms will compete for orders under a $9.9 million U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contract for electrical design work across the Pacific.

The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award covers architect-engineer services for electrical design of miscellaneous projects in the Corps’ Pacific Ocean Division, as announced on war.gov. Bids were solicited online, and six were received. Work has an estimated completion date of Aug. 6, 2031.

Engineering Partners Inc., a Hilo-based multidisciplinary engineering and architecture firm founded in 2001, holds award W9128A-26-D-A019. The company employs about 30 people and operates offices in Hawaii, Las Vegas, Manila and Tokyo, according to acechawaii.org.
