Trump Claims Democrats Push “Fake Polls” to Suppress Republican Turnout
Trump says Radical Left Democrats are running “Demoralization Operations” with fake polling, insists actual numbers are strong and claims the U.S. is winning against everyone, including Iran.
WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump accused Democrats of flooding the country with what he called “Fake Polls” designed to discourage Republican voters from turning out. Trump made the claim in a post on Truth Social. He said the surveys amount to “Demoralization Operations.” He insisted the “actual Polls are tremendous.”
Here is the full post on truthsocial: “The Radical Left Democrats are going CRAZY with Fake Polls. They’re putting them out at levels never seen before. They’re called, “Demoralization Operations,” where they try to demoralize Republicans so that they don’t go out and vote — But the actual Polls are tremendous, and the Spirit in our Country has never been higher. We’re winning against EVERYONE, including Iran, whose Country is in Economic and Military Death Spiral. Thank you for your attention to this matter! Trump” on August 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET.
This is Trump’s 15th message released today, and the last post came moments earlier, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The message fits a pattern in his recent posting, with 184 of his 597 posts over the last 30 days classified as Elections posts.

Trump named no individuals, pollsters, or organizations behind the surveys he blames. He offered no polling data or documentation in the post to support the claims. Trump also asserted the United States is “winning against EVERYONE, including Iran,” which he said is in an “Economic and Military Death Spiral.” He provided no figures or sources for that characterization, closed with his standard sign-off, and signed the message “Trump.”
