Trump Posts Video of Supporter Predicting History Will Favor His Presidency
Trump shares a 26-second clip in which an unidentified man calls him the best president of his lifetime and says the history books will reflect well on his record.
WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump posted a video on Truth Social featuring an unidentified supporter who praised his presidency and predicted favorable treatment in the history books.
The 26-second clip shows an interviewer asking a man to deliver a message to Trump. The man responds with a broad endorsement of Trump’s performance in office, calling him the most accomplished president of his lifetime.
“I would tell the president Trump that he’s doing a wonderful job and to keep it up and everybody will come around eventually and things will work out,” the man said in the video. “He has done more for this country than any other president in his our lifetime. He’ll end up in the books of records one day or history books saying how well he did.”
Here is the full post on truthsocial: “Give give a message to our president, the 45th and 47th president. What would you say to Trump if he’s watching? I would tell the president Trump that he’s doing a wonderful job and to keep it up and everybody will come around eventually and things will work out and he has done more for this country than any other president in his our lifetime. He’ll end up in the books of records one day or history books saying how well he did.” on October 15, 2026 at 9:48 AM ET.
This is Trump’s 10th message released today, and the last post was 0 minutes ago, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 144 of his 561 posts over the last 30 days classified as image-only posts.
The video contained no written caption from Trump, relying entirely on the supporter’s words to convey the message. The man offered no specific policy achievements but spoke in general terms about Trump’s legacy. The post did not identify the man or indicate where or when the interview took place.
Trump has frequently shared testimonials from supporters on his Truth Social account throughout his second term. The clips typically feature brief, unscripted endorsements from individuals encountered in public settings, and this post followed that pattern with its informal street-interview format.

President Trump is the author of Trump: The Art of the Deal, Trump: Think Like a Billionaire: Everything You Need to Know About Success, Real Estate, and Life, and Think Big: Make It Happen in Business and Life. Analyst and Trump supporter Rod Martin points to The Art of the Deal, Trump's 1987 book, as an explanation of his deal-making philosophy: making big announcements, pivoting often in public statements and, Martin says, ultimately getting what he wanted all along. Critics contend that Trump's books were published decades ago or were aimed at making money, not shedding light. "Generally," Martin said, "critics don't read The Art of the Deal. If they did, they would understand."
