00:00InterviewerThank you for joining us today, Victoria. Can you tell us about the trademark dispute with Louis Vuitton?
00:10Victoria OsborneOf course. It's been quite a journey. We started L V Bespoke from our home workshop in Reepham, Norfolk, UK, during the pandemic. We never expected to face a legal battle with the world's most valuable luxury brand.
00:35InterviewerHow did you feel when you won the case?
00:42Victoria OsborneIt's a great way to start the new year and we can finally wholeheartedly embrace the branding of our business. Not having to worry about rebranding or rescoping our business is a huge relief. We've had the handbrake on for the last six months awaiting this decision, so it's been a long time coming.
01:15InterviewerWhat message do you have for Louis Vuitton?
01:22Victoria OsborneI'd like Louis Vuitton to recognize what they've put a small, independent business through. It's unfair, and it's cost us a lot of money.
01:45Victoria OsborneCommon sense has thankfully prevailed, and the outcome is what we all hoped for. I'm glad to say we stood up to these corporate bullies.
02:00Victoria OsborneWe can be the true winners of this David-and-Goliath battle.
02:05InterviewerThank you so much for sharing your story with us, Victoria.
02:12Victoria OsborneThank you for having me. It's important that small businesses know they can stand up for themselves.
