WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump endorsed Congressman Bill Huizenga for re-election in Michigan’s 4th Congressional District, one day before the state’s primary.

Trump praised the Republican lawmaker as a champion of America First policies and a defender of manufacturing, agriculture and the Second Amendment. The endorsement lands with Michigan’s primary set for August 4, according to swampthevoteusa.com.

“Bill is doing a truly FANTASTIC job representing Southwest Michigan, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election,” Trump said in the post. The message closed with a call to action for voters in the district.
