— Donald J. Trump said he has made hundreds of billions of dollars on stocks and other holdings for the United States, and complained that political opponents he labels the Radical Left criticize him for it.

Trump made the claim in a post on truthsocial, framing his financial actions as service to the country rather than personal enrichment. The post offered no figures beyond the general assertion of gains, and did not detail the trades, accounts, or holdings involved. An attached image styled to resemble the Oval Office showed monitors with stock-chart graphics, including text reading “BOUGHT:Intel Corporation(Nasdaq: INTC) $20” and “NOW $95.”

Here is the full post on truthsocial: “I do this for our Country, not myself. I’ve made Hundreds of Billions of Dollars on Stocks, and many other type Holdings, for the U.S.A., not myself, and all I do is get criticized by the Radical Left Dumocrats. Very unfair, but what can you do! Trump” on September 6, 2026 at 3:17 PM ET.

This is Trump’s 28th message released today, and the last post was 5 minutes ago, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 36 of his 633 posts over the last 30 days classified as Economy posts.
