— Donald J. Trump posted two videos to his Truth Social account, one carrying a short clip of football commentary.

Here is the full post on truthsocial: “Truth Social post containing 2 videos. Video transcript Actually, yes. I’m sorry. You know First down on the 10 yard (about 9.1 meters).” on September 24, 2026 at 3:23 PM ET.

This is Trump’s 21st message released today, and the last post came moments earlier, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 80 of his 529 posts over the last 30 days classified as image-only posts.

The post carried no written commentary from Trump beyond the attached media. One video ran about 28 seconds and included a transcribed line of football-style commentary referencing a first down on the 10-yard line. The account shared the media without a caption explaining its source or context.

Trump’s use of the platform drew attention during a period of friction with news organizations. A federal judge ordered the White House to restore access for reporters from three news outlets Trump banned, and CNN, MS NOW and Politico journalists returned to the grounds by midday after the ruling, according to pbs. Trump first announced the ban on a Friday and assailed what he called “fake news,” later saying their reporting posed a risk to national security, according to pbs. The outlets argued in a joint lawsuit that the ban violated the First Amendment because it singled them out for their coverage, according to pbs.

The judge in that case, Tim Kelly, said the outlets met the legal thresholds for a temporary restraining order, in effect for 14 days, according to pbs. Kelly, whom Trump nominated in 2017, said the government must set clear standards for conduct that would lead to revoking a press pass, and he rejected the administration’s national security argument, according to pbs. “Nothing in the record … suggests that the revocation of Plaintiffs’ hard passes was motivated by national security concerns,” he wrote, according to pbs. A Secret Service agent confiscated the journalists’ credentials on Thursday morning, the news outlets said in a court filing, according to pbs.
