Trump Says White House Facade Fully Restored, Shares Aerial Photos
Trump posts images of the renovated South Facade and a new Presidential Seal heliport on the South Lawn, calling the project long overdue.
WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump said the White House facade has been fully restored and shared aerial photographs showing the renovated South Portico and a new heliport bearing the Presidential Seal on the South Lawn.
The images show bright white exterior walls and columns on the South Facade, an American flag flying from a centered flagpole, and a large Presidential Seal rendered on the lawn. Active construction is visible on the east side of the building, consistent with what Trump described as a new Ballroom and Military Complex.
Trump said the exterior walls and ornamentation had suffered years of wear and damage. The restoration gave the White House “many decades of additional life,” he wrote. He called the Ballroom and Military Complex “on time, and on budget” and described it as the first addition to the White House since the West Wing in 1901.

Here is the full post on truthsocial: “Actual pictures of our fully renovated White House facade, facing South, with the new South Entrance, and Heliport! Over the years, the facade, both North and South, suffered tremendous wear, tear, and damage. The exterior walls and ornamentation, both missing and in bad condition, has been fully restored to the Highest Level, giving the White House many decades of additional life! It had to be done, and I am very proud to be the President who did it! Likewise, the Ballroom and Military Complex, is on time, and on budget, and will make an unbelievably beautiful addition, the first since the West Wing in 1901, to the White House. This is Trump’s first message released today, and the last post was 2 days ago, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 43 of his 547 posts over the last 30 days classified as Domestic Policy posts.

The photographs include ground-level and aerial views of the South Lawn. One overhead image shows a walkway extending north from the Presidential Seal, which appears to function as a helicopter landing zone for Marine One. The seal displays the text “Seal of the President of the United States” and the national motto “E Pluribus Unum” surrounding the traditional heraldic bald eagle.
Trump framed the renovation as a personal achievement, writing that he was “very proud to be the President who did it.” He did not disclose the cost of the facade restoration or the timeline for completing the Ballroom and Military Complex. No independent confirmation of the project’s budget or schedule was available.

President Trump is the author of Trump: The Art of the Deal, Trump: Think Like a Billionaire: Everything You Need to Know About Success, Real Estate, and Life, and Think Big: Make It Happen in Business and Life. Analyst and Trump supporter Rod Martin points to The Art of the Deal, Trump's 1987 book, as an explanation of his deal-making philosophy: making big announcements, pivoting often in public statements and, Martin says, ultimately getting what he wanted all along. Critics contend that Trump's books were published decades ago or were aimed at making money, not shedding light. "Generally," Martin said, "critics don't read The Art of the Deal. If they did, they would understand."
