WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump shared a video on Truth Social featuring Tom Homan, the Trump administration border official, tying the deaths of several young Americans to immigration enforcement and defending Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Homan used the segment to attack calls to abolish ICE, saying fewer agents on the street would produce more grieving families. “ICE is making record arrests, record deportations,” Homan said in the video. He said agents had been “doxxed” and “attacked” while carrying out their work. He also criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom, former President Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over border policy.
