Here is the full post on truthsocial: “Truth Social post containing one video. Video transcript Get this lion. He’s the king of the jungle. Huge mane out there. For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Jackals, hyenas, they’re barking at him, laughing at him. We are transferring power back to you, the people. And at his toes, he leaves the food that’s in his domain. Tonight, New York State’s Attorney General Letitia James saying she’s prepared to seize Trump’s assets. And they get closer and closer and bolder and bolder till one day that lion gets up and tears everybody. Whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots. So every once in a while, the lion has to show the jackals who he is.” on September 18, 2026 at 4:48 PM ET.
This is Trump’s 23rd message released today, and the last post was 1 minute ago, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 97 of his 584 posts over the last 30 days classified as image-only posts.
The roughly 110-second video mixes narration comparing a lion to Trump with clips describing a small group in the nation’s capital. Its audio cites Letitia James saying she is prepared to seize Trump’s assets, setting the reference against imagery of jackals and hyenas. The clip closes with a line that the lion has to show the jackals who he is.
