WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump amplified a claim that the GOP midterm convention in Dallas drew more than 100 million live stream views last week.

The post came from John Solomon, the journalist behind the @jsolomonReports account, and referenced an article from justthenews.com. The screenshot carried the headline “GOP midterm convention last week draws over 100 million live stream views” and displayed “DALLAS 2026” branding on an illuminated backdrop.

This is Trump’s 3rd message released today, and the last post was 41 minutes ago, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 89 of his 576 posts over the last 30 days classified as Elections posts.

The shared image showed several people in silhouette on a staircase against a red, white, and blue backdrop with star patterns resembling the American flag. The screenshot noted engagement metrics of 43 replies, 1.1K reposts, 5K likes, and 44K views on the original Solomon post. The 100 million figure appears only in Solomon’s post and the referenced justthenews.com article, which Trump amplified without adding independent confirmation.
