Trump Accuses Historic Preservation Group of Treason Over Military Lawsuit
Trump says the National Trust for Historic Preservation revealed top-secret details of a facility built for presidential safety and demands its suit be dismissed.
WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump accused the National Trust for Historic Preservation of treason over a lawsuit challenging a military construction project tied to presidential security. Trump said the group revealed top-secret features of an integrated facility built for the safety of current and future presidents, their families, staff and Cabinet members. He claimed the U.S. military asked the organization not to file the suit because of the project’s classified nature. The facility includes a DronePort occupying the entire roof, he said.
