Trump Praises Kushner for Calm Reply to Reporter Over Gaza Criticism
Trump amplifies a post crediting Jared Kushner with dismantling a reporter's question and accusing much of the media of amplifying Hamas propaganda in Gaza.
WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump praised his son-in-law Jared Kushner for what he called a composed reply to a reporter’s question about the Gaza crisis, sharing a social-media post that accused much of the media of amplifying Hamas propaganda.
Trump framed the exchange as a model of restraint under pressure, writing that the reply was a “Classic answer” and that the reporter was hostile. The shared post argued that coverage had blamed Kushner for failing to fix the Gaza catastrophe quickly enough, while faulting the same outlets for fueling propaganda that it said made peace harder to achieve.
Here is the full post on truthsocial: “Classic answer by Jared to a hostile, Trump Deranged Reporter. President DJT The world spent years funding, enabling and propping up a terror regime in Gaza-one that embedded itself among civilians and exploited them as human shields. Much of the media then amplified Hamas’s propaganda, strengthening the very narrative Hamas relies on to maintain power and sacrifice its own civilians for political gain. And now that same media has the audacity to blame Kushner for not fixing the catastrophe quickly enough—while continuing to fuel the propaganda that makes peace harder to achieve. If I were Kushner, I would have told this reporter exactly where he could take that question. Kudos to Kushner for calmly dismantling it with far more diplomacy than it deserved.” on September 10, 2026 at 8:44 AM ET.
This is Trump’s 2nd message released today, and the last post was 33 minutes ago, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 15 of his 644 posts over the last 30 days classified as Media bias posts.
