— Donald J. Trump amplified a social-media post that praised his leadership on the economy, workers and national security, sharing it with his followers on Truth Social.

The shared post came from an account labeled Innovation Council and quoted commentary crediting Trump with fighting for an unnamed industry and seeing through what it called misleading claims from some companies. The quote framed the underlying dispute as being about controlling the future, limiting competition and shifting liability. Trump added no separate commentary of his own to the graphic.

Here is the full post on truthsocial: “GGG ”With President Trump, you have the greatest president for the worker, the greatest president defending America’s national security, and somebody who understands the importance of the economy and the importance of this industry to it. And he stood up and fought. He stood up and led. He sees around the corner on this, and he sees through some of the the bull that we’re seeing out there online from some of these companies… …I think the president is exactly right. What this actually is about is controlling the future, limiting competition, and shifting liability.“ @Budowich nails it on @larry_kudlow:” on September 14, 2026 at 11:53 PM ET.
