For President Trump’s efforts toward peace in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize and said “Trump is the greatest friend that the state of Israel has ever had in the White House.”” on August 26, 2026 at 12:27 PM ET.
