— Donald J. Trump endorsed Republican U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts of Nebraska for re-election in a video message posted to his Truth Social account.

Here is the full post on truthsocial: “ Pete Ricketts has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election as U.S. Senator from Nebraska — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN! Trump” on September 18, 2026 at 2:26 PM ET.

This is Trump’s 12th message released today, and the last post came moments earlier, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 84 of his 573 posts over the last 30 days classified as elections posts.

In the attached video, Trump urged Nebraskans to knock doors, volunteer and vote to return Ricketts to the U.S. Senate. He credited the senator with a pivotal vote for tax cuts that included no tax on tips, no tax on overtime and no tax on Social Security. Trump said Ricketts voted to end the estate tax and backed record investments in border security and the military. He described Ricketts as “a really good guy, friend of mine for a long time.”

“ Pete Ricketts will always put Nebraska first, and he’ll always put America first,” Trump said in the video. He closed by urging supporters to vote for Ricketts on November 3rd, calling the senator a candidate who “will never ever let you down.” Trump also attacked Osborn, whom he called “a fake independent who I beat once before.”

The Nebraska Farm Bureau has reminded voters that Ricketts is the only candidate in the race to receive the endorsement of the state’s largest general farm and ranch organization, according to nefb. “Senator Pete Ricketts is the only candidate in the race for U.S. Senate with a proven track record of supporting Nebraska agriculture,” Mark McHargue, the Nebraska Farm Bureau president, said in a statement, according to nefb. The group pointed to Ricketts’ work securing additional grazing opportunities at the Valentine National Wildlife Refuge and his push for expanded E15 access to support Nebraska corn growers. Nearly 55,000 families across Nebraska are Farm Bureau members, according to nefb.
