Trump Endorses Carrie Buck in Nevada House Race Against Titus
Trump backs Nevada State Senator Carrie Buck against Democratic Rep. Dina Titus in the 1st Congressional District, attacking the incumbent on taxes, immigration and crime eight days before Election Day.
WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump endorsed Nevada State Senator Carrie Buck in her bid to unseat Democratic Rep. Dina Titus in Nevada’s 1st Congressional District, escalating Republican efforts to flip competitive House seats ahead of the November midterms.
Trump framed Buck as a community leader and attacked Titus across a broad range of policy issues. He called Titus “Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous” in a post that also directed supporters to a Republican National Committee voter-turnout website.
“ Carrie Buck has dedicated her life to serving her Community,” Trump said in the post.
The endorsement landed during Nevada’s early voting window, with Election Day set for November 3, 2026, giving Buck a high-profile boost as ballots are already being cast.
Here is the full post on truthsocial: “It is my Great Honor to endorse Highly Respected State Senator, Carrie Buck, who is running to represent the fantastic people of Nevada’s 1st Congressional District. Carrie is running against a Career Politician named Dina Titus, who tried to raise Taxes by over 4 Trillion Dollars, and voted against all of our Tax Cuts, notably NO TAX ON TIPS for the Working Men and Women of Nevada! Dina Titus wants to abolish our Borders, stop deporting Criminal Illegal Aliens, and supports dangerous “Soft on Crime” Policies like cashless bail that let repeat Violent Criminals roam free on our streets. She voted to allow Men in Women’s Sports, is in favor of the transgender mutilization of children, and voted AGAINST Voter I.D., but in favor of allowing Illegal Aliens to vote in our Sacred Elections. She is Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous! In contrast, a Successful School Principal and Civic Leader, prior to becoming a distinguished State Senator, Carrie Buck has dedicated her life to serving her Community. As your next Congresswoman, she will fight hard to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote NO TAX ON TIPS, Champion School Choice, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Strengthen our Brave Military/Veterans, Ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment. Carrie Buck has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from Nevada’s 1st Congressional District. GET OUT AND VOTE FOR CARRIE — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN! This is Trump’s 24th message released today, and the last post was 0 minutes ago, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 177 of his 573 posts over the last 30 days classified as Elections posts.
Trump described Buck as a former school principal and civic leader who became a state senator. He said she would fight for tax cuts, the “No Tax on Tips” proposal, border security, school choice and the Second Amendment. Trump attacked Titus for voting against tax cuts, supporting what he called “cashless bail” policies and opposing voter identification requirements.

Trump also accused Titus of supporting allowing noncitizens to vote and permitting transgender athletes in women’s sports. Those claims come from Trump’s post and have not been independently verified.
The post included a link to the Swamp the Vote USA Nevada page, a Republican National Committee voter-mobilization site. Early voting in Nevada started on October 17 and runs through October 30, with Election Day on November 3, according to swampthevoteusa. Trump mentioned the source (see swampthevoteusa) to direct supporters to find their early voting locations and registration options.
Nevada voters in the 1st Congressional District will decide the race on November 3, 2026. The endorsement carries particular weight during a midterm cycle in which Trump has used his backing to shape Republican primary fields and boost candidates in competitive general election contests.
Rep. Richard Hudson, chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee, said Trump has “helped clear primary fields” in “competitive” districts, according to spotlightpa. “We certainly talk more, coordinate better than we did before,” Hudson said about the difference between working with Trump in his first and second terms, according to spotlightpa.
Trump’s endorsement strategy this cycle extends beyond Nevada. He endorsed Republican Casey Askar in Florida’s 22nd Congressional District in September, using similar language in a truthsocial post for that race, according to wlrn. Republicans hold 20 of Florida’s 28 U.S. House seats, and newly redrawn district maps could improve the party’s chances to win additional seats, according to wlrn.
Trump’s endorsements have not guaranteed victory in every past race. Mark Burns, a pastor endorsed by Trump, lost to now-Rep. Sheri Biggs in a 2024 runoff election in South Carolina, where the governor and Trump endorsed separate candidates, according to spotlightpa. One Republican strategist working on multiple Trump-endorsed campaigns told NOTUS that the endorsement is now “the most powerful thing in American politics,” according to spotlightpa.

President Trump is the author of The Art of the Deal, Think Like a Billionaire, and Think Big. Analyst and Trump supporter Rod Martin points to The Art of the Deal, Trump's 1987 book, as an explanation of his deal-making philosophy: making big announcements, pivoting often in public statements and, Martin says, ultimately getting what he wanted all along. Critics contend that Trump's books were published decades ago or were aimed at making money, not shedding light. "Generally," Martin said, "critics don't read The Art of the Deal. If they did, they would understand."
