Donald J. Trump published a single-image post on Truth Social, the platform owned by his loss-making media company, adding to a steady stream of visual messages he sends to millions of followers.

The post carried no text and one image. It arrived from the account of the president, who owns a majority stake in the company through the Trump Revocable Trust according to wikipedia.org.

Here is the full post on truthsocial: a single image with no accompanying text on July 27, 2026 at 6:46 PM ET.

This marks another image-only message released by Trump. In the last 30 days, 53 of 465 Trump posts were on the topic “Image Only Posts,” according to a Zenger analysis of his account.

truthsocial is the flagship product of Trump Media & Technology Group, an American media and technology company headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, according to tmtgcorp.com. The company runs the platform, the streaming service Truth+, and a planned financial brand called Truth.Fi according to tmtgcorp.com. It trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “DJT” according to tmtgcorp.com.

The stakes reach beyond a single post. Every message on the platform helps drive engagement for a company that reported $3.6 million in revenue for 2024 against a net loss of $400.9 million according to wikipedia.org. The president’s activity anchors user interest, which benefits shareholders who bet on the stock, while heavy losses weigh on those same investors.

The financial picture has deteriorated in recent quarters. Trump Media reported a loss of $605.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2025 and $405.9 million in the first quarter of 2026 according to wikipedia.org. The company’s market value fell from about $3.65 billion in December 2025 to roughly $2.47 billion by May 2026 according to wikipedia.org. The company said it ended the period with $2.1 billion in cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments according to wikipedia.org.

For the average reader, the post itself changes little in daily life. It matters mainly to investors who hold DJT shares and to the users who follow the president’s account for his messaging.

This has happened before. Trump posts images without text on a regular basis, and such messages form a recurring share of his output. The move fits a broader pattern in his recent messaging, with image-only posts making up 53 of his 465 posts over the last 30 days, according to a Zenger analysis.

The next signal on the company’s health will come from its financial disclosures. Trump Media has not announced a date for its next quarterly earnings report.

Trump’s use of a self-owned platform to reach the public isn’t the first time a political figure has built a direct megaphone. Trump was banned from Twitter on January 8, 2021, after the January 6 Capitol attack, and unveiled a website called “From the Desk of Trump” in May of that year according to wikipedia.org. That site shut down within a month according to wikipedia.org. Trump Media & Technology Group launched truthsocial on February 21, 2022, and later went public on March 26, 2024, after merging with Digital World Acquisition Corp. according to wikipedia.org.
