WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump praised his Palm Beach estate, the Mar-a-Lago Club, as the finest in the world and cast it as a second seat of the presidency in a message on Truth Social.

The Mar-a-Lago estate was completed in early 1927 by cereal heiress and philanthropist Marjorie Merriweather Post and her second husband Edward Hutton, who named it for its waterside location according to time.
